The Old Schoolhouse stands above picturesque Traquair Village has spectacular views of the hills & valley of the riverTweed.With the Southern Upland Way passing through the village, there is perfect walking &riding countryside on the doorstep .A mile away is a mountain bike competion track.Stabling available. Close by are historic Traquair House,Kailzie gardens,St.Ronans Wells,as well as Innerleithen golf course. There is salmon & trout fishing on the Tweed. Fifteen minutes away by car is Peebles,an attractive town with woolen mills,swimming pool golf course various restuarants & horses for hire. Edinburgh is less than an hour drive away. Children are welcome .Resident cats,dogs hens &pony.Comfortable guests sitting room with log fire television tea & coffee facilities. Home cooked meals on request.
